Katie did an excellent job of making our house feel warm and cozy while maintaining a style that wasn’t too trendy. We started our relationship right in the thick of the pandemic when supply chains were crumbling, but Katie was upfront with the process and did her best to manage expectations, following up as she received information.

Additionally, for time-sensitive items/rooms, she only presented me with options that were actually attainable in my set time period. With everything completed, I don’t even think about the length of time it took to get it all done. We worked with Katie, and her husband Mike of the Bogart Finish, on a full kitchen and kids bath renovation. We also updated our powder room, painted the exterior of the house and updated exterior lighting.

When we initially met Katie we knew it would be a great partnership. She was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic to work with us.  Katie is a creative person with a smart eye for design, color, and seeing the grand picture. Quickly after we met she had a good sense of our taste and crafted a design plan that echoed our desired aesthetic.

Our home is a 1960’s colonial that had a 1980’s modern kitchen. Working with Katie, we were able to develop a cohesive plan that allowed the kitchen to feel like a natural part of our house.  We were also thinking of expanding our kid's bathroom as it's a small space.  Again, Katie developed a plan to maximize the space by using a custom cabinet with plenty of storage in such a fun color!  

Katie is very responsive to inquiries, thoroughly researches products, and chooses materials that are high quality, unique, and durable.  Without hesitation we would refer Katie to anyone looking for a designer as she can transform your home into a space that truly represents you

We hired Katie (and her husband Mike Bogart of The Bogart Finish) to help us re-imagine and rebuild the first floor of our 1940’s Cape. Working with Katie was a dream. She is professional, organized, responsive, enthusiastic and fun. Katie Bogart came into my life when it was very chaotic, stressful, wonderful, and exciting.  Moms can all relate to these emotional roller coaster periods and I was completing my roller coaster "RENOVATION" ride, while pregnant with my second child.  As most 3rd trimesters can understand, I wanted to feel nested, and in love with my home before baby #2 came.  I also wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing, colorful, simple, clean and warm; while also being a place where my husband, son, daughter on the way, and I could feel at home.  So family function was ESSENTIAL.  I think it's important to also note that I like to think of myself as a design spectator, loving the finished look of people's homes and styles, and a huge fan of design shows, but never someone who could come off the stadium seats and execute a big win.  Needless to say, I was finding it an immense challenge to combine all my needs and wants for my home.   Then Katie stepped into my life (pregnant with her fourth child by the way!), and she helped me transform my home. Let's just say, there was a LOT of white and non family friendly fabrics.

Katie checked off every criteria I had and more.  She blew my expectations out of the water.  She was easy to work with, kind, efficient, responsible, and provided her input exactly at the right moments.  It was like she knew my style preference effervescently and she executed on budget and on time. If I could have a framed picture of Katie in my home without it being creepy, I definitely would. I know a lot of people say this, but I truly LOVE my home.  I would rather be in my home among my beautifully decorated space instead of any hot restaurant or otherwise fun outing.  And most of all, I love the mom and spouse that I can be in the space. I live among chaos, with one 4 year old and one 14 month old; however, my house always looks put together, bright, clean, warm, and inviting, and all the fabrics are STAIN PROOF!  Katie is a magical unicorn and not only is she an awesome mom and designer, but I am really lucky to say she is a close friend.  I hope all of you reading this testimonial get the pleasure of working alongside her and inviting her into your home.  I promise you, you'll thank me later.

When we recently decided to renovate the first floor of our home and expand our living room to include our then sun porch, we knew right away to give Katie a ring. Having worked with her previously on our family room, we felt comfortable that she knew our style and our family’s growing needs.
